SPSC sells a range of swimwear, shirts, hoodies and caps at competitive prices. Our garments are made of high quality chlorine resistant material.

Club caps, club polo shirt and swimwear (for warmup) are compulsory for any carnivals. This not only makes SPSC competitors more easily identified by officials and supporters, but also encourages team spirit and promotes a sense of belonging within the team.

The Friday Club program is written on the board (at the end of the pool) at the start of each night. We will aim to include:

A BBQ will be held at all Club Nights, offering a variety of options & refreshments - saves you having to think about Friday night’s dinner menu!  Our BBQ is our club’s primary source of income – money put back into the club for the purchase of trophies, the break up party and more.

Club Season Champion Points - SPSC uses an equitable point scoring system so that every swimmer, regardless of ability or age, can accumulate enough points to be the Season's Club Champion.

Points are awarded as follows:

The Club Champion Awards are based on club attendance and personal performance, so the fastest swimmers will not necessarily be the Club Champions. It is based on the points, as stated above, that swimmers achieve throughout the season. The age groups are based on the year each swimmer is born.

There is one major trophy for each boy and girl overall Club Champion, which is kept by them until the end of the next Swimming Club season. There is also a trophy for each age group boy and girl champion, plus trophies for all other swimmers based on their year of birth and the points they have accumulated during the season.  Presentations of these trophies will be at our break up party.

Squad training is available via the Guardian Angels School swim program, by arrangement with Anthony Heath (Club Coach) at Guardian Angels Pool. Coaching

Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, become acquainted with the parents of your children’s friends and enjoy the social atmosphere our Club strives to create for our families.

For club night’s and SPSC’s carnivals to run successfully and in a timely manner, we need the assistance of a few volunteers each week to help with setting up, marshalling, timekeeping, and of course the BBQ. So please don’t wait to be asked -Volunteer! It is a good way to meet people, and our timekeepers have the best view of the action in the pool.  Your help will enable everyone to have a turn to watch their kids swim.

We are a not-for-profit club and operate solely through our fundraising endeavors & donations. At present our fundraising efforts consist of our weekly BBQ, raffles & Bunnings BBQs.  It is through our fundraising that we are able to continue to hold our membership fees at such an affordable rate. Supporting your club, in essence supports your child.

 Fundraising proceeds help cover the following costs:

* Day to day operation costs of running the Club

* Cost of medals and trophies

* Encouragement awards

* Improvements to facilities for swimmers

* Break-up Party

* Coach attendance at carnivals

* Financial support to swimmers achieving very high standards.

If you are in a position to donate prizes for raffles or supplies for our BBQ (club nights or carnival) it would be greatly appreciated.  Our committee members are available to discuss this with you at any time.  If you, or a business you know, would be interested in sponsorship of an event at our Club Championships or Carnival, we will ensure that the business is acknowledged in our newsletters and on our website.  Please see one of the committee members to discuss this further.

It would be great to see each of our family members taking a turn to help out in some capacity during the season with our fundraising endeavors.
